Problem

The cash register takes a long time to process the first few transactions (cash, gullcard, or credit card) after powering on the cash register or restarting the register. The transactions eventually go through.

Solution

This is a known issue with no fix. The first transaction of each type (cash, gullcard or credit card) takes longer than normal to process and complete. Once the first transaction of each type goes through, subsequent transactions of that type go through faster. 

Rebooting or restarting

Rebooting the register or changing shifts on the register will reset the system. After restart or reboot, the first few transactions will again take longer to process and complete.
