Problem

Xbox will not connect to internet even after registering and connecting to SU-Connect. Device had been powered off for at least five minutes.

Solution

Check the IP Address and DNS settings are set to automatic.

  1. In the Xbox Network Settings, choose Advanced Settings.
  2. For IP Settings and DNS Settings, change both to Automatic.
  3. Then Test Network and Multiplayer connections again.
